Fun story time!
This is a great app for story time with the kids. My children love getting to pick different paths and enjoy the changing pictures. My daughter is 7 and is reading stories to me which is fantastic 😁

He's read the same story 20 times (still not bored)
My 4 year old loves creating these stories. He always wants to "read it again but pick the other way!" We've made maybe 15 stories but he keeps going back to the zoo one with the hippos in the tree. The read-aloud voice is great for when he wants to do it himself.. it wasn't working on one story but seems good now. Would love an iPad version for car trips!

Great reading app!
My son loves reading the stories. He especially enjoys the images and being able to choose his own adventure throughout the stories. Very easy to follow app with great graphics that is engaging for young readers. The option of having different voices reading aloud is a great added feature. Highly recommend!

Tale Twirlers is a kids' story app with a library of interactive pick-your-path stories, where they choose what happens next. From dinosaurs to princes and princesses, every story is fully illustrated, with read-aloud narration. Read or listen on iPhone, iPad or the web.
Yep. Every account starts with 7 days free, with the entire library. After that you can pick a plan, or keep reading a collection of free stories.
Three to seven, give or take. Younger ones listen along with the read-aloud audio. Older ones start reading on their own and making their own choices. Plus the occasional grown-up who's picked their own path when nobody was watching.
An interactive story that stops and asks them which way to go. Follow the footprints, or explore the cave? Whatever they pick is where the story goes, and there's more than one way for it to end.
About five minutes, depending on the path they pick. Short enough for one more, long enough to feel like a proper story.
They sure can. Pick a place, who's coming and the adventure, and see it come to life. It's saved to their collection and it's theirs to keep. Every new account gets one to make, free.
We use it to help us draft and illustrate. Then we go through every single story ourselves, rewriting the clunky bits, redrawing the wonky hands, and binning the ones that aren't good enough. It takes longer than you'd think.
Your child never talks to an AI. There's no chatbot and no open prompting. Even when they make their own story, they're picking from characters and places we've already made and checked.
